Who would have guessed a year ago that I would be living temporarily in India! My husband was offered a job here, and we decided it was one of those opportunities we simply couldn’t say no to. So life looks rather different for us at the moment.
While I am here, our Russian Blue family back home is in the very good hands of friends, and this August brought some especially happy news. Both Kitty and her daughter Hope welcomed beautiful litters with Cookie. Kitty had four kittens and Hope had two.
We absolutely love Cookie, so it is extra special to have kittens from him. Kitty and Hope are doing wonderfully and are raising their babies together. It is so lovely to see, especially since Hope is Kitty’s daughter.
I have to admit, being in India when there are kittens in Norway is not always easy! I’m enjoying India and all the new experiences here, but seeing all those kitten photos does make me wish I could just reach through the screen and cuddle them. I miss them, and the rest of our Russian Blue family, terribly, but I know they couldn’t be in better hands. Luckily I get lots of photos and updates, and I’m already planning a trip home to see them.
